This is always fun to watch, my mind boggles at how these magicians are able to mould a building just buy using light trickery. But I think it’s the best form of advertising out at the moment because, they are just amazing, and everyone puts them on youtube and all of a sudden it’s viral and world wide. The very best one is this LG one at the top, they finish it off buy giving people little androids on balloons! WANT ONE!
Ever since I was little I’ve loved the National Geographic’s magazines, my mum and dad had stacks of the things piled up in the side-bored in the living room, I always at weekends looked through them for the wonderful photography, weird places, new cultures, beautiful scenery, strange animals, it just made the world seem more magical to me, I think it sparked the interest I have in anthropology and art, I always want to learn more about our environment, different cultures etc.. and what better way throught the National Geographic?
I saw on zazzle today that they have their own store, so I’ve picked a few out, theses are only prints but they do do some cases.
Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of tire art, the texture of the tires and the shape bring these creatures into a world of their own, tire art can make any “normal” animal look like a creature from a lost world.
I’m one of those kind of girls that dribbles at the sight of a new gadget/toy. I’ve been looking for my birthday what I want in the ideal fake world I live in lol I’ve decided I would like a Wacom Cintiq 24HD, shiney, new, yummy.
I think the thing that is so appealing about it is you actually feel like your drawing on something, when I first got my hands on my bamboo, it took me a while to adjust to the pen being in a completely different place to where I’m drawing. I still find it hard to sketch rough images on it, so I’m still doing that part on paper and the scanning it and then drawing over it, bit annoying, but I don’t like sketching on it, so for me he Cintiq seems like a good option to save me time, and it just looks like so much fun, you can adjust it to how ever you like to draw, nice interactive buttons on the sides, the designers have really though about what artist and designers need.
Makes you wish you had good kidneys to sell doesn’t it? in the UK you can get them from Amazon for £2,032.99*, Amazon.com they are $2,779.00*. I think I’ve got some saving to do.
You might be wondering what the hell this post is about.
Well, I’ve found a pretty cool video of these guys dancing, so dance/art same thing yeah? I’m not for the whole modern dance scene, it’s all a bit weird and I think it’s above my head a little but these videos are really amazing.
iLumiate (patent pending) gear is lighting strapped onto a person’s body and remote controlled over any number of people to create different effects. Now, I know what your thinking, this guy below….
A legend, he is, it’s not like him at all. This stuff (from what I gather) is very wearable easy to move in etc…
Now, what has come out of this is just amazing. The latest video trend at the moment for dance are the Yokoi crew doing their ”Tron Dance”, because of the effect that the light on the black back ground causes your brain to cancel out everything apart from the light, gives a very weird effect, I can’t describe it, but here’s some videos instead.
Please note these people aren’t anything to do with America’s got Talent’s Team Iluminate, but they are wearing the same gear.
