Omg, how hard is it to find your “Facbook Page ID”!?

I’ve been making a lens and I was trying to use the Facebook Fan Widget for it, and oh my, what a pain! Why have you got to use the page Id number I don’t know, it’s literally hidden in the “graphs” of facebook, a “graph” from what I can work out is how people are linked together so your friends list and likes list is your graph, seriously, you try and look for it, I’ve been looking for it for 40 mins and finally found out how to see it. It’s really simple, but I don’t know how your just meant to know how to do it, I’m relatively OK when it comes to computers and stuff like that but this was a massive mission.

What to you do….

In your browser type in:

https://graph.facebook.com/yourpagenamehere

and the it’ll take you to a page .. what will have your id number at the top

 "id": "422637211110548",
   "name": "Face Book is Annoying",
   "picture": "http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/hprofile-ak-ash2/592327_422637211110547_1943244615_s.jpg",
   "link": "http://www.facebook.com/facebookisannoying",

It's that simple but it's was so hard to work out.

You're welcome!

4D Projection Mapping

This is always fun to watch, my mind boggles at how these magicians are able to mould a building just buy using light trickery. But I think it’s the best form of advertising out at the moment because, they are just amazing, and everyone puts them on youtube and all of a sudden it’s viral and world wide. The very best one is this LG one at the top, they finish it off buy giving people little androids on balloons! WANT ONE!

I miss traditional art.

We I moved over to I had to leave things about traditional art behind. I’ve found that I’ve really missed getting down and dirty with a painting, just going crazy with different tools and techniques, I miss having to scrub my hands and watching all of the beautiful colours spiralling down the plug hole (and clogging it occasionally), peeling the PVA glue off of my face out of my hair and arms, picking up cuttings off of the floor, worrying if anyone will notice the new stain on the carpet, painting the walls accidentally when I have a paint brush in my mouth going for a coffee break, then start to look around and see all of the flicks on the ceiling, knocking a heavily loaded paint brush in the floor, the smells of different paints (I always though silver acrylics always smelt minty, anyone else get that or is it just me?), having a night out on the town and get asked “why do you have paint all up your arms?”- oops.

Ah, good times…

For all of you traditional artists and digital artists, I really like the video below. I always forget to invest as much time in the background of my painting as the object it’s self because they are just as important, they invoke more interest than an object with just a solid colour, very simple, but I always forget it.

New Video on Youtube from Bobby Chiu Game of Thrones

This is a new video from the master- Bobby Chui (Imaginism Studios). I love the fact the he’s into Game of Thrones as much as I am, because I fell across this when looking for what speedpaints people have done for Game of Thrones because I’m going to do one and not only that the choice of his subject matter seems to give the impression that his favourite character (as well as mine and I’m sure nearly everyone) is Tyrion Lannister, the best character I have ever come across in fiction.

Any way, enjoy the video I think it’s a fabulous painting.

Happy Tree Friends are on Zazzle!

We I was in school I remember one of my friends showing me the cartoons of the Happy Tree Friends on Youtube. These cartoons are so funny and violent, there a bit like the Itchy and Scratchy Show on the Simpsons.

They normally start off with a cute sweet bunny or fury critter bouncing along in there happy woodland world when they normally come to a violent end. It’s obviously not for some people, but I find them amuzing. Anyway I found there store on zazzle.com, so here’s some of there stuff I want and some of their videos.

I’ve made another page- Holiday Cards and Gifts

Holiday Card and Gifts is a special page dedicated to all holidays I will scout out the best invitation, cards and gifts for your relatives and friends. I’ve literately started it about 10 mins ago so it’ll take a while for the content to build up, but there’s some Independence Day Stuff on there at the moment!
