As we are all now the digital renaissance period (as I call it) , the starting point for digital technologies are in our hands. With innovative art and concept design our imaginations run wild with futuristic ideas of what our world will look like in the not so distant future, most of the technologies in this post will be available in our life times or are already on sale.

Siafu (Below) is a concept designed by Jonathan Lucas, a morphing computer interface that gives people with visual impairment or blindness the chance to utalise the whole pc experience. The basis of this design is a concept material called Magneclay, a synthetic-oil based material that will change to  electrical impulses. Imagine what this could mean for people…

I think concept design gets all of us going because it’s exciting, products that we’ve never seen before and that seem impossible are being made possible by the many breaks throughs in science, the Nokia concept below is based on what they could do with OLED screens. Our next production line of TV screens will be OLED a super flexible, thin screen so you can roll up your 60″ TV and keep it in the corner of your room, wrap your mobile around your wrist, simply just amazing.

It’s not just technology that benefits from concept art, it’s for everything you could possibly thing off, our houses, how our food is grown, our pets, how was socialise, transport everything is being re-designed as you ready this buy a mad concept designer, blessed with the brain for science and a brain for art.

With space starting to become a problem in cities because of growing populations vertical farms are on the horizon for us all, space saving, environmentally friendly, low running costs, brilliant idea.
